NUR 404 Community Health
Applies nursing process with individuals, families, and aggregates across the lifespan in various community settings. Uses concepts of public health, nursing, health promotion, risk reduction, disease prevention, epidemiology, information/health care technologies, human diversity, research, and health care systems/policies emphasizing collaborative practice and use of community resources.
Prerequisite: HSC 180; NUR 322, 340, NUR 370; NUR 314 or PSYS 241 or SOC 382; WPP 392, WPP 393, WPP 394; all of these courses must have a grade of C or better; permission of the director of the school.

Open only to nursing students and registered nurses.
