ECYF 491 Practicum in Early Childhood Education

Planning and implementing programs for children birth through age 8, both typically developing and those with special needs/disabilities in a supervised teaching practicum.  

Students need to enroll in SPCE 417 Practicum: Infants/Toddlers and Preschoolers with Special Needs (3 credits) during the same semester in order to complete their practicum hours.

Open only to students in the Bachelors in Early Childhood Education (non-licensure) major.
