SOPS 630 Social Psychology of Prejudice and Discrimination

Examines social psychological perspectives on prejudice and discrimination, including stereotyping, individual differences, the development of prejudice, social factors in prejudice, the experience of prejudice, and reducing prejudice and discrimination. The class explores how these factors are similar or different across social groups (e.g., age, ethnicity, gender identity) and emphasizes how they are embedded in the social structure.
