POLS 631 American Political Behavior

Covers political behavior, emphasizing  mass political attitudes and behavior in American politics. Focuses on electoral behavior, public opinion, and political participation, including mass mobilization and protest behavior, and their effects on the democratic political process. Students will be exposed to major approaches and theories-psychological and sociological approaches and rational choice theory-that political scientists use to analyze political behavior.
