POLS 320 Tort Law

Provides a detailed overview of tort law in the United States. Topics covered include intentional torts, personal injury, negligence law, remedies, products liability and strict liability. Students will learn to analyze legal conflicts by applying methods used by legal professionals in order to identify and discuss tort law issues. Students will also prepare legal pleadings and discovery materials. Other topics include ethics and client relations.

Prerequisite: POLS 141 and POLS 242.

Open only to Legal Studies majors.
