BIO 630 Scientific Communications

Emphasizes written skills needed for thesis and journal article preparation. Topics include word use, sentence construction, paragraph organization, figures, tables, statistical descriptions, and the key parts of a manuscript (introductions, methods, results, discussion). Students will also learn how to evaluate scientific writing. Prerequisite: permission of the instructor.
