The Department of Political Science offers a master of arts (MA) in political science and master of public administration (MPA).

Admission requirements

In order to be accepted by the Department of Political Science, students seeking admission to either the MA program or the MPA program must meet the admission requirements of the Graduate School, submit Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores, two letters of recommendation, a personal statement describing their career goals and how the degree will help them achieve them. Students with significant professional experience may request a waiver of the GRE requirement. Because access to GRE testing facilities may be limited in jurisdictions outside the US, students from outside the US may also request a waiver of the GRE requirement.
