Master of Science (MS) in Nursing

40-48 credits

This program is delivered on-line. The program offers three concentrations to choose from and is designed for nurses who hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Family Nurse Practitioner (48 credit hours)
Nurse Administrator (40 credit hours)
Nurse Educator (40 credit hours)

Nurses who hold an associate degree in nursing and a baccalaureate degree in another field are able to apply to the program, but would be required to complete additional credit hours. Contact the School of Nursing for more information.

Retention Standards
An overall scholastic ratio of 3.0 (B average) must be attained before admission to candidacy and the final awarding of any master’s degree. No course with grades below B (3.0) may be counted toward any degree program
