HOSP 487 Event Production in the Modern Hospitality Industry

This course gives the student a holistic, integrated, and immersive educational experience with events in a real environment. Students will plan, execute, and evaluate a real-life event in order to develop organizational, planning, and evaluative skills useful to those working in the events industry and hospitality. Practical and hands-on experience will be bolstered with discussions, seminars, and lectures designed to ensure that students have the requisite background to work in an effective manner with other professionals, clients, and the general public in the hospitality industry. 

Prerequisites: HOSP 105, HOSP 147, HOSP 287, HOSP 387
