NUTR 655 Integrative and Functional Nutrition

This graduate-level course offers a critical review of research focused on integrative and functional nutrition with an emphasis on vitamin and mineral supplements, herbs, spices, nutraceuticals, and functional foods. The content and course structure are heavily weighted toward reading, writing, critical thinking, discussion, and peer-based collaboration.

Prerequisites: NUTR 275 or NUTR 340 or permission of the Nutrition and Dietetics Graduate Program Director.
