SPCE 366 Introduction to Persons with Physical Disabilities and Other Health Care Needs
Designed for future teachers and rehabilitation counselors of persons with physical, sensory, or health impairments. Etiology, physical and social-emotional characteristics, and educational considerations and implications are emphasized within a transdisciplinary habilitative/rehabilitative team perspective.
Prerequisite: admission to the teacher education program; passing scores on the CASA; 3.0 overall grade-point average; grades of C or better in SPCE 201 (SPCE 302 for elementary education and secondary content area program) and SPCE 202.
