Admission requirements

Applicants must meet the admission requirements of, and be cleared by, the Ball State University Graduate School prior to being considered for admission into the program. In addition to completing the Graduate School ADMIT application, all applicants are required to submit a letter of intent, a resume, and a portfolio of your finest work to the Director of Graduate Studies. All candidates must supply two letters of recommendation, preferably using the Graduate School’s online ADMIT system. At least one recommendation should come from a university faculty member (teacher, advisor, coach, etc.). Applicants are required to have an overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
