GER 405 Sem in German Lang and Ling

This advanced course is intended to enhance students’ knowledge of the linguistics of the target language. Emphasis will be placed on developing a critical understanding of the linguistic topics, such as syntax, morphology, semantics, but also variations of German such as specific dialects or Pennsylvania German etc. Prerequisite: GER 301 and 302 or permission of the department chairperson. A total of 9 credits may be earned, but no more than 3 in any one semester or term.
